All three Turnham Green councillors, left to right: Ron Mushiso, Joanna Biddolph and Ranjit Gill.

We're the three Chiswick Gunnersbury Conservative councillors, first elected in 2018 to represent Turnham Green ward in Chiswick, and re-elected for the new Chiswick Gunnersbury ward in May 2022. We are (left to right) Ron Mushiso, Joanna Biddolph and Ranjit Gill.

Chiswick Gunnersbury ward is one of three wards that incorporate Hounslow's Chiswick; the other two Hounslow wards are Chiswick Homefields ward and Chiswick Riverside ward. Part of Chiswick is in Ealing's Southfield ward.

Chiswick Gunnersbury ward is larger than Turnham Green ward and includes the whole of Gunnersbury Park, the residents along the south side of Popes Lane that back onto the park, the shops and residents in flats above the shops along The Pavement Popes Lane just beyond the park's north west gate, and the residents of Lionel Road North.  It also includes the Gunnersbury Park Garden Estate, a pretty conservation area opposite Gunnersbury Park, and the few houses, the International School, St Dunstan’s Church and B&Q on the western side of the A406/North Circular/Gunnersbury Avenue plus the land at Chiswick roundabout that is proposed for over-development (first The Octopus, then Chiswick Curve, most recently Holly House).

Chiswick Gunnersbury ward's boundaries run from Lionel Road North in the west, its southern boundary runs along the middle of the A4 to the Hogarth roundabout in the east.  It then runs up the middle of Devonshire Road, moves right along the middle of Chiswick High Road to the middle of Turnham Green Terrace and up to the bridge at Turnham Green tube station. From there, it runs below the tube line past Chiswick Park tube station (which is not in the ward), up just to the left of the railway line that runs to the left of Bollo Lane to Gunnersbury Lane (Acton Town tube station is not in the ward).  It then runs along the middle of Gunnersbury Lane to Gunnersbury Avenue (the A406 North Circular), across the road and along the middle of Popes Lane, over Lionel Road North to take in The Pavement Popes Lane, then down Lionel Road North and around Gunnersbury Park to Chiswick roundabout following the line of the A4 overhead section.

If you are not sure whether you live in Chiswick Gunnersbury ward, find out here.

Below is the 2022 Chiswick Gunnersbury ward map.

I bought my first home in Chiswick in 1983 (a flat on Devonshire Road, then in Turnham Green ward, now in Chiswick Gunnersbury ward). I moved to Bedford Road (just over the Hounslow border in Ealing's Southfield ward) where I lived for 22 years.

I am a qualified accountant and have lived in the borough for nearly 30 years. I want an end to wastefulness and for resources to be directed to cleaning up our streets, tackling crime, and caring for the young and elderly. We need value for our money and more openness and accountability.

I live in the borough on the other side of Chiswick roundabout. I spent my early teens in foster home here in Chiswick and returned to work locally some years later. As a fostered child, I understand the importance of social care and social services.
